Thanks for checking, but I didn't have any problem building this project.

Did you look inside the APK to see if an assets folder is created with the
linked PNG images from the other projects?

The .zip you provided builds without error for me on OSX. I've asked
Jonathan Pobst to try under VS and see if he gets any errors with building.
