[Monodroid] deploying to a 2.1 phone - installLocation

I'm trying to put my MonoDroid app on my Android 2.1 phone (Samsung
Intercept).

If I set 'minimum android version' and 'minimum android to target' to 2.1, I
get a build error (exited with code 1).  I turned on 'normal' vebosity, and
the error seems to be about 'installLocation', which I don't think 2.1 knows
what to do with (installing to external is a 2.2 feature I think).

So how do I get my app to run on my 2.1 phone?
