you can use either the PPA from Eberhard:
https://launchpad.net/~ermshiperete/+archive/monodevelop

or my repository
http://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home%3Atpokorra%3Amono&package=monodevelop-opt
I am just building the latest MonoDevelop 4.2.3 there...
