I haven't looked at TypeScript in a long time but if I remember
correctly almost all that's required is to add some functions to
src/compiler/io.ts. I attach to this email the initial work I did around
1 year ago.

Btw, having a Javascript host in MonoDevelop would be useful for other
web-related development too: less, sass and other useful techs already
have JS versions based on node that could be ported to Jurassic
