[MonoDevelop] How do I upgrade?

Currently I am running:

    MonoDevelop Version 4.0.12
    Runtime:
	Mono 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1)
	GTK 2.24.23
	GTK# (2.12.0.0)

    Build Information
    Git revision:
    Build date: 2014-01-08 14:59:33+0000

    Operating System
    Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-34-generic #60-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 13 15:49:09 UTC
2014 i686 athlon i686 GNU/Linux

How do I update these elements to the latest and stay updated? Ubuntu
Software Updater isn't doing it...
