[MonoDevelop] Which version of Mono Develop?

For now, until someone produces packages for anything other than the
commercial operating systems, your choices are basically building from
source or using the outdated version that comes from your distro's repos.
If you look around then there might be an Ubuntu PPA with a newer
version in, though. Just make sure that you trust the PPA owner!
