I _only_ built monodevelop from sources. I installed all of it's
dependencies, and the mono runtime using YUM.

I was hoping that monodevelop would use the mono tools from my distro
to compile/execute itself as well as compile/execute the projects. The
first part worked, the second part is not working.

I will give the above a try.
