[MonoDevelop] xamarin theme

Hello 

Just wondering if there exists a possibility to reuse this cool new xamaring gtk theme.
I have downloaded xamarin-gtk-theme-master from git, but even after few hours I did not manage to do anything with it on my mac.
I tried to replace the gtkrc in the framework/gtk-2.0/etc directory but seems not to work.
The "make" fails as I am missing quite a few libraries needed for compiling it which I do not want to install.

There is just this issue with gtk themes in general.
Is there any way to make them work on mac?
