This is the best news among a lot of great news! It would be great to
see a list of the changes to Gtk; I'm looking through:

which I guess would have the relevant changes? I see items like:

(a profile checker to make sure that graphic calls are in being done
in the correct thread... fantastic!)

It sure would be nice to see developers writing about any of this...
