[MonoDevelop] Moving from Visual Studio to Mono

First time I hear about this. Do you have some sources?
Last time I checked, Mono was a fully open-source project, not owned by
anyone in particular (although Xamarin is the main backer), and therefore
couldn't be bought nor sold. Xamarin naturally keep working on it, as their
mobile offerings rely on it.
