[MonoDevelop] Show Parameters List - most of the time does not work

Hi,

I am using MonoDevelop 2.8.6.3 in Ubuntu 12.10 and find the "Show Parameters
List" or the intellisense when writing a method calls sort of unreliable.

If I start writing things like this:
  foo.DoSomething( new DateTime(2012, 10, 11), 
                 Intellisense fails to work from here --^

So after I have completed the first parameter, the intellisense showing the
parameters list of DoSomething does not work and no matter what I do, it
does not show.

Is there a way to have a more reliable intellisense? In VS this does not
have any problem.

Is this a problem fixed in MonoDevelop 3.x?
