[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop Compile Error

Hi Mike,

What is the stack trace that gets printed to the terminal when you get that
NRE during the build?

That might provide a clue.

Also, 2.8.6.3 is quite old. Current release is 3.0.5 (although might not be
packages for that on Ubuntu?)
