[MonoDevelop] Script / Macro support? Or AddIn?

It occurs to me that a workaround may be if I could automate the action of
setting MonoDevelop to to stop on System.Exception, and then unset that
again. Say, via a button click or similar.

Does MonoDevelop have any kind of scripting / macro support that I could
use?

Alternatively, I guess I could achieve that using an addin...?
