[MonoDevelop] GPS with emulator and Google Maps

I am using the Mono Develop trial version with the emulator.

My question is this: Does the emulator support locating you GPS coordinates?
I am asking this because I am writing an application that uses Google Maps
and the AddMyLocationOverlay code.

This is not working. Is this because the emulator does not support GPS
positioning? If this is the case, can I use the AddMyLocationOverlay code,
yet manually enter in a current GPS position, and when the application is
running actually on a Android phone, the current GPS coordinates will be
used?
