Your right there I used sudo -i and logged in as su when starting it from
terminal, when not doing so I get the following message insead:
#125 0x0816c094 in mono_runtime_exec_main ()
#126 0x080bb833 in mono_main ()
#127 0x080593de in ?? ()
#128 0xb7535c2e in __libc_start_main () from /lib/libc.so.6
#129 0x08059231 in ?? ()
=================================================================
Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.
=================================================================
That is the exakt same error I got when using the old version I was using
(downloaded from YAST), fatal errors are not good but as redownloading does
not fix it there must be something I've done wrong. You said I could have
the wrong display settings, where do I change this? Never had to fix any
problems before in MonoDev.
Regards
David
