[MonoDevelop] Building MD 3.0.1

Hey,

That patch will not be needed to the 3.0.2+ tarball, so please ensure
it's removed. There is still an 'external' directory, but it exists in
'external' instead of '../external'. This directory contains external
libraries like NGit which provide core functionality. It should not be
removed!
