[MonoDevelop] starting with monodevelop

Hi all,
sorry for my noob question, but I have just start with monodevelop. I have
created an application in gtk# and I would like to use it only in Linux OS.
What should have installed PC which will use my application - only mono?
And how to start it there - only way is 'mono app.exe' for debug file?
