[MonoDevelop] GTK# references for MD 2.8.1 on ubuntu 11.10

Hi, I just built Monodevelop 2.8.1 from the stable sourceball on ubuntu 11.10
and it runs just fine. The problem is that if I create a new GTK# project
the references for all GTK related components as ATK, Pango, GTK itself etc.
appear in a red color meaning the reference was not found. GTK# is actually
installed and all the package config files seem to be there. Is there any
flag that must be set in order for this to work?

The problem is that trying to manually remove and add the references from
the GAC sends a warning that it will disable visual designer. Going to the
project references dialog does not show those DLLs available.

Thanks in advance!
