[MonoDevelop] IL debuging

Hello, I am a bachelor student of "programming study program" on Charles University in Czech Republic. We are given an opportunity to get in touch with developing software for a client. I would like to develope a feature connected with IDE for C# or .Net especially with debuging. I have visited your page and checked TODO list of features you would like to have in your IDE. The most attractive for me was IL debuging. Please contact me whether someone is working on this, what shall i know before i start working on this and if you are able to send me some informations or prerequisities connected with the topis, please do.
