[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop OSX / Windows performance differences

The only difference between MonoDevelop on Windows and Linux that I have
noticed so far is that MonoDevelop on Linux works even with VB.NET, and
MonoDevelop C# on Linux seems to be - in general - faster than
MonoDevelop and even Visual Studio .NET on Windows.

I can only speak for Debian/Ubuntu Linux though, and not for FreeBSD
UNIX based Mac.
It seems to be true what the abbrevation says:
Linux is NOT Unix.
