[MonoDevelop] Accent characters on Monodevelop editor are not working

Hi all!

I'm trying to type a char with accent, like "é" and I'm not being able
to do it. I always get " 'e "
It seems that the editor is not recognizing the dead char of acute accent.

I'm using Monodevelop 2.10 on OSX 10.6.6

Is there any config option I have to change in order to get that?
