[MonoDevelop] No Linq in Windows, works fine in Ubuntu

Hi all, I've installed Monodevelop 2.4 from the Ubuntu package
manager. In order to run Linq queries I need to add System.Core to the
References. However, I am also testing Monodevelop 2.6 on a Windows 7
virtual machine, installed from the Monodevelop downloadable .exe
file. On Windows, there does not seem to exist a System.Core reference
to add! I'm not sure which mono version is installed on the Windows
VM, it does not seem to be listed in the Monodevelop About box.

Should the System.Core reference be available on Windows? Thanks.
