[MonoDevelop] News links in welcome page

In my MonoDevelop 2.4 and 2.4.2, the News Links in the welcome page
contains a single entry headlined "MonoDevelop 2.2 Released". It has
been like this for as long as I can remember.

I have "Update welcome page from Internet" activated in the
preferences. So is this some malfunction in my system, a bug, or a
lack or updated entries available for download?
