[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop on RHEL5... Possible?

I would like to put MonoDevelop (and the latest Mono) on an RHEL5 box but not
having too much luck finding people that have been successful doing that. 
Unfortunately, I'm pretty new to Linux too.  Before I run off down this
road, can anyone give me a bit of advice on how to get MonoDevelop (or Mono)
installed?... or point me to a good place to start?
