There´s no official support for .NET 4 APIs with any released version
of mono as the latest release of mono is older than .NET 4 itself. If
you want to test monos .NET 4 support, you really should be using
trunk as some of the new APIs are under very active development,
especially System.Threading.Tasks.

If you start testing with trunk today we can get bugs fixed before
releasing 2.8 :)
