I would vote for 'no more pads' - we can have dialogs or views that 
contain a branch history or managing dialog.
The space in pad is very limited and we've that many pads that managing 
them isn't very easy to do.
- depending on the features to implement I would suggest using a view 
like some other version control dialogs we already have.
