That's the sad part of all this, the mono proyect have a mwf-designer!!,
is just that it need to be finished and integrated, I can say that for
simple things is almost posible to work with it.

I have to agree that Gtk is a excelent library, but also that the
install overhead to use it it in my case make it a no-go most of the time.

A mono developer once told me about this topic "why we have to
concentrate efforts in a deprecated GUI toolkit", :-P , come on!!, old
yes, may be even ugly and not rich featured, but deprecated??, I bet
that winform apps are going to be with us for at least another 5 years,
even with WPF, solverlight or wherever other things came across, is just
to many app that are allready writed using it...and new programers are
use to have it arround...

IMHO, if MD+mono really want to be a cross-platform solution and take
the atention of windows developers, a integrated mwf-designer is "must
have", even if they say "the current one is not mature to be
integrated", you can tell me what MD feature was really mature/stable
when was shippend with the "stable" release?

but ok, don't include a mwf-designer, I sure that this topic is going to
came back over and over from time to time...

my two cents...now shot.
