MonoDevelop 2.1.0 is an old unstable/beta release. Fedora seems to
have a bad habit of shipping outdated unstable packages of MD - this
happened with 1.9.1 too IIRC. This might also be something to do with
Fedora's Mono packaging, which deliberately moves CIL binaries to
/usr/lib64, breaking the layout that apps such a MD expect. We haven't
had any success persuading them to change this.

I suggest you build MD from source (please read
http://mjhutchinson.com/journal/2007/11/08/how_not_break_mono and
http://www.mono-project.com/Parallel_Mono_Environments first!) and if
it's still a problem, file a bug.
