[MonoDevelop] FATAL ERROR Failed to start

I'm new to the mac platform. I can't get monodevelop to work. I've installed
the latest mono runtime and mondevelop but when I double click to execute
monodevelop the icon shows up in the task bar and bounces a few times and
then disappears. Here's the output of the error log.

I've checked to ensure the file and path exist.
