[MonoDevelop] Syntax highlighting

Hi,

When MD magically identifies a syntax error, does the parser know
exactly (the position in the line) where the offending code is?
The reason I ask is that sometimes it is not obvious to the naked eye
(of a lowly programmer like myself).
Could there be a visual indicator to help users like me?  I realize this
would be an enhancement, but when you are tired, crutches like this come
in quite handy.
