[MonoDevelop] Error compiling GTK# apps with Mono/MonoDevelop on Windows

Yes, the path is correct as far as I can see.  Certainly the appropriate DLL
is there at the path shown in the properties box.

For Mono, it is looking at E:\Program
Files\Mono-\lib\mono\gtk-sharp-2.0\??????? where ??????? is the name
of the specific DLL.  E:\ is correct as the root for my system.

When I switch to building with .NET it looks in E:\Program
Files\GtkSharp\2.12\lib\gtk-sharp-2.0\??????? instead and builds quite

One thing I noticed is that when I am building for .NET the package name in
properties is GtkSharp but when I build for Mono the package name is
GtkSharp-  The assembly version is shown as in both
