[MonoDevelop] Newbie question - adding additional languages

Please accept my apologies in advance for such a basic question, but I cannot
figure out how to add additional languages to MonoDevelop. I've searched
the internet and this forum extensively but must not have the terminology
right, because I just can't figure it out.

I've installed MD 2.4 on Ubuntu Karmic Koala alpha 6 and it works well. I
have options to create new solutions using C#, GTK#, etc but am missing
Python, Glade and some others. I can't find these in the add-in manager,
can't find repos to add to the add-in manager and can't see any other way of
including these options.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? Python is the one I'm
most interested in adding. The release notes say that it is now an official
binding, but where can I get/enable it?

Thanks in advance!
