[MonoDevelop] Building MonoDevelop.Debugger.Mdb - Ubuntu 9.04

I'm trying to build the mdb debugger addin for Monodevelop from the latest
source, and I get the following error:

Checking for package 'monodevelop'.. ERROR: Package named 'monodevelop' >=
2.1.1 not found.

I've successfully set up a parallel Mono environment, compiled Monodevelop
and all dependencies from source, and actually run Monodevelop Beta 2.2.
This is my last step. Since I'm on Ubuntu 9.04, it only has Monodevelop 2.0
actually installed - is that the package the build process is looking for?
How can I work around this to get the mdb debugger addin built and
installed?
