[MonoDevelop] File opens in MonoDevelop as gibberish.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 (64-bit and 32-bit).  When I try to open the attached
file in MonoDevelop 2.0 (the package provided by APT) it obviously does not
read the file correctly because it sees it as all one long line of Chinese
characters and missing characters.  If I open the file in gedit it works
fine.
