Use one of the existing schemes as the basis for your scheme:
http://anonsvn.mono-project.com/viewvc/branches/monodevelop/main/2.0/src/addins/Mono.Texteditor/Styles/

You can then add it with "Add" button in the Syntax Highlighting
options panel (it gets copied into a subdirectory of
~/.config/MonoDevelop/).
