[MonoDevelop] Automatic Resource ID's

Adding to a new project to an existing mds solution. I actually have a
csproj project from VS 2008 that could work fine, but I get an unknown
file format error when I try to add it to the project. Would this just
be simpler if I recreated the solution as a sln instead of mds?

I tried loading the existing sln that I have (I'm doing parallel
development on Windows/Linux) but it gives me the same errors when I
get to the project with the resources.

Perhaps it's better if I just start over with the whole solution and
try to make a single one that works with both MonoDevelop and VS. I
assume that's possible now?
