[MonoDevelop] Issue with MOnoDevelop not running

Please accept my apologies re the issue that I raised via this list - the problem is something to do with my GTK and GTK-SHARP installation as I cannot run any of my .exe's via mono - and when I do a mono --trace it gives me the following:

[0x7f0879eb0720: 3.58127 6] ENTER: (wrapper managed-to-native) Gtk.IconTheme:gtk_icon_theme_load_icon (intptr,intptr,int,int,intptr&)(0x2134110, 0x22314d0, 16, 0, [BYREF:0x7fff81eceab8], )

and then freezes.  So I've logged an issue with the GTK forum as the problem is clearly not with MonoDevelop.  My apologies for wasting anybody's time on this as I should have investigated further before logging an issue with this list.
