[MonoDevelop] monodevelop 2.2RC and OS X and Soft debugger

hey all

   In the release notes it says that mono develop ships with the soft
debugger and thus can debug on OS X as well. 

  I have tried running monodevelop both against mono 2.4.3 and mono 2.6
preview but the debug button is always grayed out.

 I am running Snow Leopard.

   Is there anything one needs to do to enable Soft Debugger ?
