My two cents about this are: Sure, more effort and resource for
moonlight UI designer seems to be the right path to the future, but
silverlight/moonlight are still "incoming technologies" and still don't
have a big basis of system using it or to much fans. IMHO this is a long
task/work with more benefit at the end, yes, but still long and hard to
doit...
In the other hand, you allready have a MWF-designer with have all the
basis in place, sure, need work and effort to, but not so much as a
moonlight UI designer and also IMHO resources was destined for that
purposes, so way to not just finish that work in proper way that can
make windows guys feel more confortable and introduce him to
linux/mono/MD in a more familiar way?.
Don't get me wrong, but "winforms getting into critical mass"??, don't
make mistakes, winforms are going to be around us for a long, long time
even if the silverlight/moonlight technologies success...
Is Ivan around to drop a word on this matter?
