[MonoDevelop] Debugger inactive?

Hi. Running mono & monodevelop versions :

mono-core-2.4-17.fc11.i586
mono-debugger-2.4-8.fc11.i586
monodevelop-2.0-1.fc11.i586

on fedora 10. I can't seem to get the debugger to stop on a breakpoint. Actually, I can't get the debugger to do anything, nor do I really see debugger options ( run to breakpoint, etc. ) on the md gui. There are view selections for breakpoint windows but that's all I see. If anyone could offer suggestions I'd appreciate it.
