[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop 2.0 fails to start.

I`m using ubuntu 8.1 interpid
When I`m launching MonoDevelop 2.0 I see these messages:

I`m tryng 
sudo import MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.8 - though it doesn`t
help and I see

No protocol specified
import: unable to open X server `:0.0'

As for Error initialising GLib logging -  I have no idea at all
I was trying googling etc - and found people occured with the same unaswered
problems

 Could you please help me to solve the problem?
