[MonoDevelop] Project Icons

I can add an image file to resources and define a project icon;  but
projects that consume that project don't have access to the first
projects icons.  Is that possible in any way?  Or do I have to add the
images and define them as icons in each project?  I have a set of widget
libraries and I'd like the consuming application to also have access to
the defined icons in much the same way that I the widgets from
sub-projects appear in the Stetic palette.
