[MonoDevelop] w3c validation

I have been working on an app. in monodevelop 2.0 Alpha 2 (1.9.1) and it is
putting the name attribute in the form tag on my xhtml document which is
causing my project to not pass the w3c validation test.

Is there a setting in monodevelop to have it produce standards compliant
xhtml?

Looks like the View State is also causing the validater to fail.
