Michael,
Thanks for your help. It allowed me to start up MD but when I do I get a dialog that advises me that it could not start Moonlight components due to missing asp.net, 1.9.1. I didn't compile the asp module - just what the default profile gave me - so should I have done so ?
Brett Senior.

The addin version numbers have been updated, and the addin db appears
to be out of sync. and re-running MD.
If you're using "make run", just rebuild: "make clean; make". If it's
installed (though I recommend against this for unstable versions)
remove the files in ~/.config/MonoDevelop/addin*.
Then re-run MD, and it'll regenerate the addin DB.
