[MonoDevelop] Problem with Monodevelop on ubuntu 8.04

Hi Francisco,

Thanks for your help.
I found some time to try out your suggestions. So, I renamed the 
mono.addins folder without success. Next I checked my current version of 
mono which was 1.2.6, so I installed a newer version (1.9.1° with the 
following guide: 
http://tempvariable.blogspot.com/2008/04/installing-mono-191-on-ubuntu-804-hardy.html. 

Next I started monodevelop from the terminal but I still have the same 
problem/output. It's a very strange problem. Is there anything else I 
can try, or could someone give me a more technical explanation what's 
causing this problem?
