[MonoDevelop] Random crashes... is this normal?

For some reason this problem occurs on Ubuntu and Debian, as a result
of whatever combination of libraries (GTK+, GTK#, GLib etc) are used
there. The MonoDevelop code works fine on openSUSE and other systems,
so we haven't yet been able to track the problem down. Any error
traces you can collect would be appreciated.
