[MonoDevelop] Monodevelop beta 3(0.18.1) + Ubuntu 7.10 = Problems

I can't get it to compile. I download each of the dependencies. Compile
them separately and it ends up showing me some error(I know this isn't
the best info but know I am prepping an assignment for school and i
can't risk it to broke monodevelop or Ubuntu.....Again). The thing is I
follow the instructions and i am not able to make it work that way.
I am pretty sure that Monodevelop ends up complaining about some
libraries that aren't present on some environmental variable(I remember
it had a name related to pkg-config)
If i can post any more piece of information just ask. Thanks Joaquin
