[MonoDevelop] C# book recommendation

I bought it whilst I myself was a complete newbie to C#. Its biggest drawback, 
as it's usually the case with C# / .NET programming literature: It's quite 
tied to the MS environment (WinXP, Visual Studio etc.).

I myself do have a plan to write a book about platform-independent C# 
programming with MonoDevelop, but for now, I can't promise anything. :-X
