[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop RC 1 hangs on startup

Hi,

I downloaded and compiled MonoDevelop RC1 but I cannot get it to run. It
always hangs, although not always at the same place. It either hangs on
the first step of the splash screen, or when it says it is initializing
the Main Window or, sometimes, after displaying the main window, when I
try to use any button or menu.

When it hangs, it does not appear to use any CPU, there is no visible
disk activity and it no longer redraws the splash screen or, when it
reaches the main window, the window contents.

I tried running it with MONODEVELOP_CONSOLE_LOG_LEVEL=UpToDebug but it
shows no errors.
The only warning is the following:
WARNING [2008-02-15 22:21:08Z]: Inotify watch limit is too low (8192).

On rare occasions it shows:
Error: did not find one of the files in
sources//usr/lib/monodoc/sources/monoapi

I am using Mono 1.2.6, gtksourceview-sharp-2.0-0.10, mono-addins-0.3 and
gtk-sharp2-2.10.2.

Can anybody please help me get Mono Develop running?

If there is any other information I can provide, please let me know.

Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Andre Martins
