[MonoDevelop] Monodevelop / mono 2.2 preview 2 - lockups?

I have been using OpenSuse 11.0 x86-64, Mono 1.9.1, and MonoDevelop 2.0 alpha 1 for months as a production environment with no unusual problems.  However, I setup a OpenSuse 11.0 x86-64, Mono 2.2 preview 2, and MonoDevelop 2.0 alpha 2 machine to evaluate migration to 2.2 - and now I have a serious problem.  After running Monodevelop for a random amount of time, the entire machine is frozen. (this happens probably 5 times within 9 hours)  I cannot even ssh into the machine from another box.  I am forced to perform a hard reboot.  Another developer at my company is experiencing the same issue.  Is anyone else seeing this?
